Physical form
Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Lyophilized. Contains no preservative. Reconstitute with 20 µL of sterile distilled water. Centrifuge if necessary to remove any residue.
Specificity
Vanilloid receptor like protein 1 (VRL-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of rat dorsal root ganglia and spinal cord indicates specific staining in a subpopulation of sensory neurons.
Storage and Stability
Maintain lyophilized material at -20°C to -70°C for up to 6 months after date of receipt. After reconstitution maintain frozen at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Glycerol (1:1) can be assed to additional stability. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
